RCD – Rousaud Costas Duran is featured among the most innovative law firms by the prestigious Financial Times

The firm appears in FT – Innovative Lawyers, a list that includes the most innovative firms in Europe, and joins the select group of the most groundbreaking firms

RCD - Rousaud Costas Duran has been recognized by the prestigious ranking FT - Innovative Lawyers, published by the Financial Times. The ranking, a reference which identifies the most innovative offices in Europe, recognizes companies that have stood out for their innovative projects, in both legal and management categories.

In the case of RCD, the firm has been listed in the category of Most innovative law firms 2016: Innovation in strategic collaborations for clients for its advice to the Mobile World Capital Barcelona Foundation, promoter of the Mobile World Congress along with GSMA. The advice was in regard to a project to develop, through the company mVentures, an investment acceleration and attraction program of 30 start-up companies in the field of mobile technologies in Barcelona.

The commission, unprecedented in its complexity and size, represented one of the most ambitious challenges undertaken by the firm through its Area of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, which was itself a pioneering initiative among law firms in Spain. Since its establishment, the firm has advised on more than 500 entrepreneurship projects in sectors such as technology and life sciences, and has emerged as one of the most recognized firms by start-ups, investment funds, business angels and other actors of the venture capital ecosystem.

With this recognition, RCD joins the prestigious group of law firms to make the Financial Times’ list, together with other international firms. Furthermore, it is one of only five Spanish firms to be chosen, a fact that reinforces its position as one of the law firms with the greatest capabilities in the area of innovation.
